Workshop Aim
There have not been more sweeping changes in business regulation and compliance since the Great Depression. The fall of Enron Corporation provided much of the catalyst for new laws and new corporate governance oversight. The Board of Directors and senior management are now tasked with the continuous risk of “operational volatility” with people, processes, systems and external events. Effective Operational Risk Management begins with an effective strategy to manage strategic change in your organization.
What is the Focus?
In this two-day workshop we assist the senior executive or board member who now realizes that the organization will need to make drastic changes. This change reaches across all aspects of the organization to adjust to the realities of managing new operational risks. Moreover, you have not yet managed to convince others in your organization that a failure to mitigate operational risk may jeopardize the long-term survival of your firm. This interactive and participative session will focus on processes such as developing a need for strategic change and establishing a true sense of urgency. The focus then will shift to create a coalition or a team in the organization that shares the common vision for change. The subsequent steps will involve creating a vision and strategy to manage the operational risks and the alternatives that provide ways to achieve the desired change.
Audience

Does your organization have a culture that avoids an examination of organizational processes such as decision-making, planning and communication concerning the operational risks due to a failure in managing change?
